1. Definitions

Company

“Youthera”, “Youthera.me”, “Company”, “Firm”, “we”, “our”, “us”, “Service Provider” or similar terminology refer to Youthera.

User

“Client”, “User”, “You”, “Your” or similar terminology refer to the individual accessing or using the platform to avail products, services, or resources.

Psychological Wellness Professional

“Psychological Wellness Practitioner”, “Psychological Wellness Professional”, “Wellness Professional”, “Therapist”, “Wellness Advisor”, “Expert”, “Consultant”, or “Clinical Psychologist” refer to qualified mental wellness professionals associated with the platform.

Psychiatrist

“Psychiatrist”, “Doctor”, or “Clinical Expert” refer to a medical professional qualified in India and specializing in psychiatry.

2. Disclaimer

Youthera does not deal with medical or psychological emergencies. The platform is not designed for crisis situations, including but not limited to:

  • Thoughts of self-harm or suicide

  • Severe clinical or psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia

In such cases, in-person medical intervention is the most appropriate form of support.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, or feel you may be a danger to yourself or others, please seek immediate help at the nearest hospital or emergency room. You are encouraged to involve a close family member or trusted friend for support.

3. Terms of Use

By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872;

    OR

    If the user is below 18 years, a parent or legal guardian is using the platform on their behalf and is competent to contract.

  • Your use of the platform does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

  • All registration information provided is true, accurate, and up to date.

  • The platform is used strictly for personal and non-commercial purposes.

4. Usage Restrictions

You agree that you shall not:

  • Modify, copy, reproduce, sell, or exploit any content or service without written permission from Youthera.

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any part of the platform.

  • Remove or alter legal notices, trademarks, logos, or copyright symbols.

  • Use the platform in any unlawful manner or in a way that may harm Youthera or others.

  • Upload viruses, malicious code, or any content that disrupts or damages the platform or its network.

5. Third-Party Links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites. These websites are not controlled by Youthera, and different terms and privacy policies may apply. Youthera is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

6. Payments & Fees

  • You agree to pay all applicable fees on time.

  • In case of delayed payment, Youthera reserves the right to levy interest or charges on the outstanding amount.

  • Users are responsible for ensuring they meet the technical requirements before booking sessions or availing digital services.

7. User Content Restrictions

You may not upload, publish, or share content that:

  • Belongs to another person without proper authorization.

  • Is deceptive, misleading, offensive, threatening, or menacing in nature.

8. Prohibited Uses

You are prohibited from using the platform to:

  • Engage in unlawful activities or solicit unlawful acts.

  • Violate any laws or regulations.

  • Infringe intellectual property rights.

  • Harass, abuse, defame, discriminate, or intimidate others.

  • Upload malicious code or viruses.

  • Collect or misuse personal data.

  • Spam, scrape, crawl, or phish.

  • Engage in obscene, immoral, or unethical activities.

  • Circumvent security features of the platform.

Violation may result in termination of access without notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

  • Youthera does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.

  • Services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Youthera and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

Maximum liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the user for the service in dispute.

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • A full refund is available only if the session is cancelled at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time.

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • A therapist has been assigned and the user chooses not to proceed.

  • The session is missed due to technical issues (rescheduling only).

11. Rescheduling Policy

We value both client and therapist time.

  1. Minimum 2-Hour Notice

    Rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 hours prior to the session.

  2. Therapist Availability

    Rescheduling is subject to availability. The same date or time is not guaranteed.

12. Grievance Redressal

For any dissatisfaction or complaints related to services, contact:

Youthera commits to resolving grievances within 30 days from the date of complaint.

13. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian laws.

Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.
